A custom house portrait is the perfect wedding, housewarming, or holiday gift. Just send a photo or two of the house and I’ll do the rest!
Portraits can either be the minimalist look of line drawings, or more vibrant illustrations with watercolor. I use cold press watercolor paper and high quality ink and watercolors for all illustrations.
The finished piece will be an artistic interpretation and might not look exactly as the house or building does in "real life", but will capture its character.
Turnaround time for the finished piece is typically 3-4 weeks, but please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need a more accurate timing estimate.
You can add on notecards and prints of your house or building portrait:
- Notecards: white folded A7 size (5.25”x7”) and come with matching white envelopes. Click here to add on notecards.
- Prints: prints can be the same size as the original or smaller. Click here to add on prints.
At this time, I'm unable to include humans in house portraits. Drawing them is just not my strength! If it's critical that humans are included in your house portrait, I can recommend other artists who will be able to make that happen for you.

In addition to houses, I can also illustrate wedding and event venues, storefronts, landmarks, and other buildings. The process and pricing for these is the same as a house portrait.

How it works:
Step 1: Purchase this listing.
Step 2: I'll email you to get photos of the house/building and information about any details you want included or left out. Photos of the entire house/building taken straight on work best, and you can send supplemental photos to show details you'd like included too.
Step 3: Once I receive the photos, I’ll get started! I’ll send you an initial sketch for approval before adding ink and watercolor. Pricing includes one round of edits. Please note that once you approve the initial sketch, I won’t be able to make any more changes or add/subtract details to the portrait.
Step 4: After 3-4 weeks, your portrait will be on it’s way to you!
